Carrollton
(Dallas), TX
|
| How
long have you been a VA? |
I'm
starting my second year.
|
| How did you get into
the VA profession? |
I
worked as an executive administrative assistant for more than
two decades and I am also a Certified American Sign Language
Interpreter for the Deaf. For the last 15 years, I used both
my interpreting and administrative skills.
I
married in 1997 and moved from Oklahoma to Texas. After moving
to Texas, I did freelance interpreting. However, I soon tired
of fighting Dallas traffic and I missed my administrative
work. Therefore, All That's Clerical was born. Working from
my home office has proved to be ideal.

|
|
Your
all time favorite movie?

the Sundance Kid, The Sting, The Horse Whisperer, Sneakers…
Hmmm, anything with Robert Redford basically! I fell in love
with the man in 1969 in "Butch," and my love remains strong
today!

What is your best advice
to other VAs and/or motto you like to do business by?
|
Clients can ascertain
if their VA is genuinely concerned with providing a quality
product. Combining the client's imagination with the VA's
visionary abilities produces a quality product that exceeds
their own expectation and imagination. People who are bound
by the status quo and never take a risk will never experience
their full potential.
|
| Anything else you’d
like to add? |
I would like to
thank the VAs and IVAA for their support and guidance. My
advice to new VAs would be: explore all your marketing possibilities
and be a visionary. Never give up!
